Abruptly summoned home to Pass Christian, Mississippi to take her ailing mother off life support, Tig finds herself dealing with her clingy girlfriend, her dysfunctional Gulf Coast family, and the loss of the one person who held everything together (Yes, this is a comedy)

  • Thwarted in their attempt to deal with their uncomfortable work situation, Tig takes their situation to the airwaves and tells a powerful personal story. Bill attends a wedding with Felicia and makes an impression on her family. Tig supports Bill and Remy, as the men face difficult truths. Tig and Kate go to a new place in their relationship.

  • Frustrated by the impossibility of a relationship with Kate, Tig withdraws. Kate has a disturbing encounter at work which infuriates Tig. Remy hosts a dinner at Bill's house with an unexpectedly long guest list.

  • Kate pulls back but might be jealous of Tig's chemistry with a sexy musician. Bill and Remy separately attempt to rise to challenges presented by dating Felicia and Desiree.

Remy and Bill are stymied in their search for romance and cats, respectively. Tig searches for Kate at the parade, but instead encounters Jessie, a news reporter who makes her want to stay in town a bit longer.

  • Bill's cat escapes, and Bill blames Tig for letting her out. Tig's biological father, Mick, leads a search party. Assigned to survey the neighborhood, Tig unearths a secret from Caroline's past while Remy encounters a romantic prospect who may be out of his league. Having found a local station where she can record her show remotely, Tig connects with Kate, the off-beat radio station manager.

  • Struggling to accept her mother's death, Tig can't let go of Caroline's possessions.  Unable to leave home, Tig tries to maintain control of her radio show from Mississippi. Seeing that Tig is unable to accept the fragility of life, most pressingly her own, Bill pushes Tig to investigate a disturbing, yet oddly hilarious medical procedure.
