Watch Holiday Baking Championship


This holiday-themed cooking competition series features baker contestants who must create baked goods that fit into Christmas-inspired themes. The series airs on the Food Network, and it is overseen by a panel of judges made up of the network's celebrities, including Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller and Lorraine Pascale. Each season consists of seven episodes, and a baker is eliminated in each episode until a final winner is determined. That winner takes home a cash prize of $50,000.

Holiday Baking Championship Full Episode Guide

  • In the pre-heat, seven bakers must create a Thanksgiving dessert using a mystery canned fruit. Then in the main heat, bakers whip up new Turkey Day sensations by combining two traditional desserts.

  • During the holidays, it takes teamwork to pull off special gatherings. So in the pre-heat, eight bakers team up to make a dozen hand pies in a festive holiday shape. Then for the main heat, bakers create a holiday dessert duo inspired by classic holiday flavor combinations.

  • To kick things off, nine bakers must create eye-catching and tantalizing new holiday treats for seasonal parties. In the pre-heat, bakers create a dessert with an unusual candy cane flavor and then, for the main heat, they use a holiday cocktail as sweet inspiration. One unlucky baker goes home.

  • Three winners from Kids Baking Championship and three Holiday Baking champs battle in a holiday-themed showdown for the $10,000 prize.

  • The three finalists prepare scrumptious snacks for North Pole characters other than St. Nick in the Season 3 finale. Then, the $50,000 reward is given to the top North Pole-inspired cake.

  • Four bakers are still in the competition. Challenges include preparing edible dessert stockings and colorful cream puff Christmas trees.

  • Five talented bakers compete to see whose Christmas cookies best incorporate the spirit of the holiday. Host Alison Sweeney and three honorable guest judges will give $10,000 to the chef with the boldest and most innovative concoctions.

  • When it comes to Thanksgiving, no one can contend with grandma's signature recipes, so Clash of the Grandmas celebrity Norma Zager joins Bobby Deen to offer her expertise to the remaining eight bakers. For the pre-heat, they have to prepare two types of cookies, with one inspired by dear old granny. Then, in the main event, the bakers compete to make the best pie by hand -- no appliances -- just like grandma used to!

  • For the pre-heat, host Bobby Deen challenges the nine bakers to take seasonal hot drinks such as hot chocolate and apple cider a step further by transforming them into desserts. Then, in the main event, these culinary artisans display their decorating skills by creating a filled Bundt cake wreath.
